Note about North West Indiana Area Meetings

Meetings in northwest Indiana, although near to Chicago, are not listed on this website because they are part of the Indiana Region.   Click on the links for Indiana's  Northwest Area  and  South Shore Area  for meeting information in these areas.  

Each of these areas also has its own helpline number.: The Northwest Area helpline is 1-219-765-5327 and the South Shore Area helpline is 1-219-793-6262. 
Telephone and Online Meetings on the Internet

Online meetings on the internet and telephone conference call meetings are an alternative for addicts who wish to attend meetings but cannot attend meetings in person. 

If you are interested in finding telephone and online NA meetings please call our helpline at 708-848-4884 or use the NAWS website as described below.

How to Find Telephone and Online Meetings on NAWS Website
1. Click on  this NAWS Meeting Locator link.
2. When you see the search form  enter "Phone" or "Web" for country and push the "Text Results" button.  

You can find telephone and online meetings by clicking on  the NA World Service Meeting Locator link and entering "Phone" or "Web" for country.  You will get the list when you push the "Text Results" button.  

 

 

Who is Welcome to Attend NA Meetings?
Open and Closed NA Meetings
  • A closed meeting in Narcotics Anonymous is for those individuals who identify themselves as addicts or for those who are uncertain and think they might have a drug problem.

  • An open meeting is an NA meeting that may be attended by anyone (e.g., judges, probation officers, professionals, family members) interested in how we have found recovery from the disease of addiction. 

  • Open  meetings will be listed as open meetings in our directory.  If the Full Meeting List does not say if a meeting is open or closed then it is a closed meeting,
  • Some closed meetings choose to be  open once a month.  The directory will say something like "Open on 2nd week of each month" for these meetings.
  • There is an Open Meeting List in pdf format
